Sunday Facial

Ever so often I do a Sunday facial. It’s my way to look after my skin a bit more, give it a bit of extra treatment if I have no time to go for a facial to the professional beauty salon. As it happens I have gathered ¬†quite a collection of skincare products, that I have some for all of the stages. I thought I will quickly share what I’ve used today:

I didn’t have any makeup on as I was at home all day, so I used lovely Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser to cleanse and refresh my face. It’s one of the best cleansers I ever had. Together with a Skinesis one (review HERE) it’s my two favourites.

I put on some Origins Clear Improvement Face Mask that is really great, deeply cleansing and unblocking pores mask. I only used it on my T-zone and my jaw line, I didn’t put on my cheeks as they get a bit dry.

After 10 minutes I removed it and used Alpha-H Liquid Gold (review HERE) with Glycolic Acid for exfoliating effect. After a few minutes I applied Hydra Quench Mask from Clarins, which is my all time favourite hydrating mask and I put on Masque Bar Eye Treatment patches under my eyes. Very nice product but it has to be applied carefully and taken off slowly, as it can stick to the skin pretty well. I have to say that skin under my eyes looked very nice and plumped afterwards and small wrinkles seem to be less visible. I kept both products on for about 30 minutes.

My next sep was a quick spray of Liz Earl spritz. Its fantastic smell is very refreshing and always makes me feel like I’m in the spa.

To finish off I used iconic Advanced Night Repair serum from Estee Lauder, and then I applied Dior Hydra Life cream (review HERE) mixed with two drops of Clarins Blue Orchid face oil (review HERE).

After a few hours my skin still feels very smooth, soft and plumped. I’m ready for a busy week that’s ahead of me.
