Sleek Cosmetics eye shadow palette

I have discovered Sleek Cosmetics quite recently. It’s a nice hight street brand with some good make-up pieces for a really affordable prices. I purchased a really nice IDivine palette with some lovely shades. This one is called Oh So Special and I love all of the colours. The palette costs 7.99 in Boots but quite often they offer great deals like 3 for 2 or recently 2 for £10. Really affordable and joy to use.

The packaging is very slim and lightweight, which is a big advantage. It’s matte finish and unfortunately can get a bit messy after a while, but to be honest it’s not a big problem for me. You can’t expect exclusive packaging for that price. It’s very practical and handy for travelling, which is great.

There is a long eye shadow applicator included, but I find it so poor quality, that I throw it away after first opening. I much prefer applying with brush anyway.

The palette contains a mixture of shimmer and matte shades. There is 7 matte and 5 shimmer shades. All colours match and are great for mixing and blending on the eyelid to create lovely make-up. You’ll be able to create some great daily looks, as well as more intense evening make-up. The pigmentation is very good and the texture of a product itself is very soft and nearly creamy, which makes it easy to apply and blend. They wear nicely, but I find it wears off by the end of the day unless you use very good eyeshadow primer.

The shadows crumble a bit, as you can see on the picture. The quality isn’t as good as some more expensive palettes, but I still think it’s a nice palette to buy if you just want to experiment a bit with make-up but don’t want to invest too much money. I really enjoy the colours and the intensity of pigmentation. I have used better ones, but this is a great option for that price tag anyway.
