Sarah Chapman Skinesis Rapid Radiance Cleanse – review

I’ve been reading a lot of great reviews about Sara Chapman’s range that I decided to give it a go. Considering that I was in a mood for a cleanser I just clicked and ordered this one from feelunique.com without giving it a second thought. Few days later I happily started using this product and I felt in love with it straight away.

For me it’s a second cleanse in the evening (after removing my make-up with some kind of oil-based cleanser) and a one step cleanse in the morning. It also can be left for about 2 minutes as a refreshing face mask, which I often do. But let’s start from the beginning:

Packaging: Love it, looks beautiful and is very practical. Pump dispenser releases just enough of a product without any wastage. I use 1 pump if I do my second cleanse in the evening and I wash it off straight away or 2 pumps if I leave it for 2 minutes as a quick refreshing face mask, which is mostly in the morning.

Ingredients: This product is full of some really great stuff. Clay is unblocking pores and detoxifies the skin. You can definitely feel some clay in this product but it doesn’t overtake other ingredients. Lactic and Salicylic acids are great for gentle exfoliation to remove dead cells on the skin surface and help revealing radiant complexion. In addition there is a number of oils and vitamins with soothing and nourishing properties.

Smell and texture: It smells very herbal and quite intense. I feel like having aromatherapy treatment when I use it. If you’re not into that kind of stuff than it might be too much, but I love it. The texture is quite interesting, a bit creamy but also watery enough, you can feel that it has got some clay added but it’s balanced by variety of oils, so it spreads on face very easily. I cleanse with my hands and wash it off with water, but I suppose it could be washed off with something like a muslin cloth too.

Overall: It is a very expensive product as for a cleanser with a price tag around £30 but if that’s within your budget I would definitely recommend it. It gives my skin glow and radiance, feeling of deep cleanse without that horrible tightness that is a case with some cleansers.

Who is it for: anyone with oily, dull skin, blocked pores, in a need of some radiance boost will love it. Test it before buying if you have very dry and sensitive skin as some of the ingredients might irritate or cause allergic reaction. Also if you don’t like strong smells it might be a problem.

I’ve been using it for over a month and it’s a great product for me which I will re-purchase when it’s finished. Can’t praise it enough.
