Realistic New Year’s Resolutions

As every year, when that magic date of 1st of January comes, we all look back at what was good last year and we all try to plan for the next year. I honestly never had very serious New Year’s resolutions, but for some reason I feel like this year could be a very good year. If I plan it well of course.



I’m quite happy where I am at the moment, with two lovely children, so as long as they’re healthy and happy all should be good. But for myself, a little extra motivation won’t hurt. So I’ve planned a few very realistic resolutions, that could help me be more healthy and more organised. So here we come:

  1. I’ll drink 5 glasses of water a day. I drink a lot, but it’s mostly coffee, tea and green tee. Water is definitely the most healthy option.
  2. I will go to bed earlier. Mostly if I go to work next day. I’m a typical owl, I can stay really late at night but mornings are very painful for me. I have to drop off my daughter to school and I have to do that before work, so when I stay late it’s a big problem next morning. I can’t wake up, then I can’t concentrate and I have to keep drinking gallons of coffee. Not healthy! So it’s time to make a cutting edge decision and stick to more healthy plan 🙂
  3. I will cook more and more healthy. What can I say, I look through the gorgeous cooking blogs and get jealous (and hungry). So I will try to experiment more, rather than typical pasta, meat and pizza.
  4. I will blog more often, three posts a week as a minimum. I have so much stuff to review and I keep buying more. It’s just selfish not to share my opinion on it with you. I will try to do regular updates about my favourites bits and about products that let me down.

I think that it’s quite enough. I hope I will manage to stick to it. Do you have any New Year’s resolutions?
